Model

Point Value: 80 Points

Estimated Time to Complete: 4 periods

Task: Create a model of a historical object using any materials (clay, cardboard, foam, Legos, vegetables, etc.). Your model must also include a 3 paragraph report on the object.

If you have Microsoft Word you can download the .doc version of these instructions. Otherwise, download the printer-friendly pdf version.

Example 1: Tenochtitlan by R. Miranda

This is based on a drawing on page 412 of Holt's Medieval to Early Modern Times textbook (If you have the book, compare and be amazed!). By the way, R. Miranda is not in my GATE class... maybe he should be...

Same project.  Just look at the attention to detail.  Good job!

Example 2: Pop-tab Chainmail by Bryce

Bryce made a sheet of chailmail from soda pop-tabs.  The entire peice is about the size of a sheet of paper and is held together by duct tape.
